This guide on how to compile nmap on OS X is not entirely up to date anymore.
Please change these lines:
ln -s /usr/libexec/config.guess .
ln -s /usr/libexec/config.sub .
to
ln -s /usr/share/libtool/config.guess .
ln -s /usr/share/libtool/config.sub .
Also, be sure to check out the Cocoa based NmapFE!
