This is nifty if you are using Firefox - a floating div embedded into the active page where each individual XMLHttpRequest invocation will get listed, with all the details on the request and the response, as well as options to edit and replay the request or replay the response callback.

Son of a gun.

Last month, Skype expired my remaining SkypeOut credit - something like 5€. The reason why Skype chose to expire this money I had paid was because I had apparently not used SkypeOut regularly enough. I don’t recall the clause that gave Skype the right to take my money away, but I’m sure it’s in there EULA somewhere.

Now, Skype is making SkypeOut free until the end of the year in the US in Canada - which does little for me (although I could really start digging up those high school contacts that I’ve long ago stopped actively conversing with), except piss me off.

Seriously, it’s easier to understand how these people can offer one part of the world free VoiP if they’re ripping off another part of the world. Standard accounting practices my foot.
